Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you vote on Tourhere, we collect your email address, the city and venue type you voted for, and your IP address (hashed for fraud prevention). We do not collect your name, location, payment information, or any other personal data unless you explicitly provide it through our artist request form.

2. How we use your data

Your email is used to verify your vote and to notify you when a show is booked in a city you voted for. Your vote data (city, venue type) is aggregated and shared with booking agents and promoters as anonymous demand intelligence — they see vote counts per city, not individual email addresses.

3. Who sees your data

Booking agents and promoters see aggregated vote counts only (e.g., "47 votes for Amsterdam"). They never see your email address or personal information. Your email is only visible to Tourhere administrators for system operations and support purposes.

4. Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers (hosted in the EU). IP addresses are hashed with a one-way cryptographic function and cannot be reversed. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

6. Cookies

Tourhere uses only essential cookies required for the website to function (session management). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies. Mapbox may set functional cookies for map rendering.

7. Data retention

Vote data is retained as long as the associated artist page is active on the platform. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove your email and associated votes within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be retained.

8. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• • Vercel — Website hosting

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered voters of significant changes via email.
